 Nancy MahonCarmenIn addition to providing harm reduction services, CitiWide strives to motivate and educate Participants through a variety of innovative programs, while informing the public of harm reduction's benefits to the greater New York City community. The newest project reflecting these values is the podcast entitled, "Sex Drugs and Harm Reduction" hosted by CitiWide's Executive Director Robert Cordero and presented by syndicated Radio Host Angela McKenzie, with the input of CitiWide Participants and Peers on and off the microphone.

Listen to this premiere edition to hear an informative interview with Nancy Mahon, Esq. the Chief Executive Officer of the M*A*C AIDS Fund which gives away over $38 million annually throughout the world. The interview sheds light on Nancy's connection to the Bronx, discusses her lengthy career in the world of philanthropy and we learn that her personal and professional commitment to harm reduction has made it possible for CitiWide to start opening its' doors on Sundays. Following Nancy is CitiWide's very own Carmen, a former drug user who has been in recovery for almost a decade due to her participation in CitiWide's programs and with the non-judgmental support of Social Workers, Case Managers and her family. Carmen is now strong enough to be a CitiWide Peer who assists Participants with their healing through outreach, syringe exchange, advocacy and other harm reduction practices.
